Does it need internet?
Only once, to activate your key. After that, WinTroop works fully offline.
Which computers does it run on?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) with the free .NET 8 Desktop Runtime. The installer prompts you if it’s missing. It works on shared lab PCs with standard install permissions.
Windows shows a blue “protected your PC” screen. Is that normal?
Yes, for new software that isn’t digitally signed yet. Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
